1. Strip the boilerplate preamble

Every AI model produces opening throat-clearing — "Certainly!", "Here's a draft for…", "I'd be happy to help with that". These don't ship. Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't ChatGPT just produce production-ready output?

Because it doesn't know what your production looks like. The same prompt produces text that needs to fit a WordPress blog, a Notion doc, an email, a code comment, or a Slack message — each with different formatting needs. The cleanup pass bridges the AI output and the destination's requirements.

Should I write better prompts to avoid cleanup?
